I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I bind almost all of my quilts with Kona Ash. It is just the perfect shade of gray to frame bright and colorful quilts with!

I love Kona Ash - I'm actually planning to use it for my latest (and very colorful!) quilt. I'm loving your circle quilt. It's so bright and cheery!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty quilt!
ReplyDeleteI detest binding lol but I love your circle quilt and the Kona Ash is awesome!
ReplyDeleteSo do you buy a bunch of Kona Ash and make all your binding from it? I usually find a pre-made double wide binding in a color that works for whatever I'm making (because I'm lazy?!). Do you recommend making your own binding? I love the gray with the bright colors in the circles!
ReplyDeleteMegan, that is exactly what I do! It's cheaper than buying binding at the store and you can make it out of any fabric you want! There are tons of tutorials out there on how to make binding if you're not sure how. I highly recommend it :)
ReplyDeleteNo specific color- but STRIPES! I heart me a striped binding. (I'm not on the gray train, though. I know it's super-cool right now, but I just can't love it.)
